Hey I'm a new mom also. I have a 6month old son who was born 3 months prematurely and just came home from the hospital in February. I am also a stay at home mom I have a couple friends who are moms but would also like to make new friends and discuss being a mom and different products n tips for baby.

I am a mother to Delilah Rae who is 5 months old and I am a stay at home mommy as well. I am also looking for friends and have tips I can share as well. This is not my first baby, but the only one that is still here with us. I have an angel baby who passed at 5months 27days in May 2006 due to complications from being a preemie. aww im sorry to hear about your baby passing? if u dont mind me asking what kind of complications did your baby have? my son is a preemie and is 6 months old now but he failed his hearing test last week and has some vision problems so we go to the hospital tomorrow for another hearing test. was your delilah rae born on time and healthy?

Wehn she was born they thought she had a heart defect so they put her on a whole bunch of meds to help her. She was on the meds for a couple of months and they were really strong and basically killed her liver. The day before her heart surgery they did another echo-cardiogram and it turns out she didn't have heart problems. She needed a liver transplant by 6 months age and she didn't make it through the surgery. My second daughter Delilah failed her first hearing test and they cleaned the wax out of her ear and she passed it the next day. She was born at 40 weeks even though I was going into early labor since I was 24 weeks. She was born healthy and is such a smart and loving baby. I hope that everything works out for you and your little boy.

i am really sorry to hear about your first daughter. thats terrible when doctors make mistakes and is really sad she didnt make it through surgery. Im glad you ended up having a healthy daughter though im sure she will never replace the first. he actually passed his hearing test today :) he has a little fluid in his left ear but nothing to worry about which thank god cuz i was so nervous i couldnt sleep last night now we just gotta get through his eye exam next friday which hopefully his eyes have healed on their own now. thank u i hope things work out for us too and i am so happy for you that you have a smary healthy n beautiful little baby girl now good luck shell be crawlin n then walkin n runnin around soon :P

I knew that you lil boy would pass and I am praying that everything will go good on his eye appt Friday. It is so nerve racking being a mother and worrying about every little thing. If you ever want to talk about anything you can e-mail me on here. I'm a stay at home mom in a new state and don't have any friends. Gets lonely on a mountain with no neighbors. Let me know how everything went. p.s. there is a baby bear in our backyard looking for food. LOL.

I live in West Virginia. My parents own a whole bunch of land on top of the mountain. We moved in with them to help take care of my mom who has Parkinson's. It's very pretty out here, but you have to watch where your stepping because we have timber rattlesnakes and copperheads. They are both posionous and they're everywhere. They also both give birth to live young that are already adults when born. Almost all other snakes lay eggs. We also have black bears that venture up to the backyard looking for scraps we throw out for them.

ive been to west virginia before i have a lot of family there. sorry to hear about ur mom. diseases are hard to deal with my grandpa had ms. i hate snakes theyre gross and creepy. lol.
