I am currently 35 weeks pregnant. I know that it is normal to itch on my belly or boobs while the skin stretches. But over the last 48 hours, I am itching EVERYWHERE!! It is driving me nuts! Anyone have experience with this? I see my mid-wife on Monday.

Are you just itching on your stomach or breast? If so, try some lotion (skin is still streching). Hmm if iching everywhere? try a good warm oatmeal bath (not hot). Check this website out regaurding itching in 3rd tri http://www.babycenter.com/0_itchy-skin-during-pregnancy_9450.bc

Could be your hormones or hopefully not an allergic reaction. It is great that you are seeing your doctor on Monday, but I know that might seem like an iternity without relief. Good luck!
It is all over, not just my breasts and belly (although that was where it started). Lotion makes it worse...
hmmm, bless your heart. Hopefully it is not an allergic reation just hormones. Good luck! I am just experiencing the ichy belly right now (I'm 26 weeks).
I am the allergic type :) but have not been exposed to any of my allergens that I am aware of...
I had this with my second and it turned out to be PUPPS! from my understanding it's almost like you are getting an allergic reaction to the pregnancy hormone. Unfortunately if it is PUPPS the only way to get rid of it is delivery. Mine was horrible, I swear it was the worse than anything I ever experienced, I would wake up with blood on my sheets from itching my skin so bad. Ask your Midwife but I used the Aveeno oatmeal bath and that always seemed to help some, hopefully you got some relief
A friend of mine made me some oatmeal soap - it helped SO much!!! That and slathering myself with lotion constantly!
I keep wondering if this is what I have. I am 22 Weeks pregnant with my first and I get random rashes, some on my belly and boobs but also in strange places like my forearms thighs and face... It's not horrible if I dont scratch it, but it's sooooo hard not to as it itches like crazy!!!!
I have heard this is very common, hang in there!
I itched on my arms really bad during the last 2 months of my pregnancy. I went to Patient First and it turned out that I had developed an allergic reaction that they gave me a prescription for. Then when that went away it started on both of my legs from just below my knees down to my ankles. I just scratched my legs because it felt so good but now I have scars (which at the time I knew was going to happen, but I really didn't care). So scratch with caution, and just smack anyone that says "just don't scratch it."
I was EXTREEMLY itchy towards the end of my pregancy. I was tested for something called Cholestesis of Pregancy, a very rare liver disease, however, I was negative for it so they determined I had PUPPS. I hope the itching calms down soon!
Depending on where you live, It could be the cold, missy.

The Seasons are achanging. :)

try Olay Quench body lotion, if its dry skin, or the cold, that should help.
I have been getting itchy but only when I am really tired or stressed out. I am thinking it is just my body reacting to stress. So, if you find it gets worse when you're tired and better after you have slept it may be the same for you. Lotions don't help mine either.
