Getting out of Dodge

Yesterday was one of those days that should go down in the books. Logan has been teething and the tooth has broken through. This means two days of fever, screaming, and short nerves. And that is just the toddler. What topped the day off was just as Logan calmed down and had some nice mint chocolate chip ice cream and the world seemed right again. He threw it all up ALL over me, Tommy, and the couch. Of course this was not a good experience for all three of us. This is also the moment Daddy and…See More

My little boy is a year old!

I have to say that I am definite not a perfect mom and having been out of the loop since the child before this one is 7 years old. But I have learned along the way. Case in point, my son moved up to the one-year old room last week and since then he is now pulling himself into standing and will walk if…See More

Family

I have to say I am blessed with the parents I have. They are very supportive and have been a major help through my kids lives (especially when I was divorced and raising two boys on my own). I could not have done it without them.So I am protective of my parents.I absolutely hate to watch how my brother (and his wife) and my sister treat my parents like they are expendable and for my sister like my parents are made of money and have nothing better to do than support her and her lazy husband. I…See More

Army process

I have to say that the Army thing takes longer than I thought but at the same time it is going by really fast. Before I know it the house will be up for sale, I will be packing up the household, and driving to another state. It can be SCARY!But exciting at the same time.I hope we can get everything done in time.Wish us luckSee More

Military

Well it is official. He has received a conditional relese from the National Guard and has started the process to join the Army full time. This will be a real change for us and will require putting this house up for sale and moving wherever in the country the Army sends us. I really hope it is not somewhere cold. I love warm weather!
