expectant immigrant

Hi. am an immigrant and just moved to the united states last august. it's really hard having a baby in a foriegn country, let aone being very far away from my family and the life i have always known. i wld love to know ways i could keep myself and mind busy in this situation.

Describe a typical weekend for you and your family:: I wake up as early as 6am becos of my toddler. bathe him, feed him. i do the lundry, have breakfast, rest for a while and then head out depending on the weather. it's usually the same thing everyday whether it's a weeknd or not because am a full time mum.

What’s your favorite “YOU” time activity:: using the bathroom

Your favorite thing about being a mom/dad is:: being called mummy by my toddler.

What’s the best parenting advice you ever received?:: I alone knows what's best for my baby and i should listen to baby's needs and not others telling me what to do with my child. my mum told me that.

Yeah, it was a rough road at first, but things are going great with him! He almost 7 months now with a tooth already coming in!
